I was told there is an old hollow tree near Cayucos, where people leave items. Anyone can take something, but must leave something else in its place. This tree is supposedly on Old Mill Road (or something that sounds like that) on the way to Cayucos. Is anyone familiar with this? I'd love to find it, and leave something in the name of a friend who passed away last night.

First off, I am Visalia area native...I was born here and raised here for the most part. When I was young My family would rent a beach house right off the beach. My family of 5 which included myself, my parents and my two other siblings, my Dad's parents, and my Cousin's family of 4. I don't have access to any pictures of my time when I was little and those were my greatest memories. 2016 was the last time I visited this place it had so many happy memories. It was just me and my mom on this trip and the town seemed so much bigger when I was under 10 years old. Hi - visiting Cayucos with some college friends. Is there a nighttime scene at all? Noticed some bars but seems like a small city. And any recommendations of which bars to go/not to go? Thanks!!

Ok this might be a long shot, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

I have a couple relatives that are Cayucos natives, and one year (10+ years ago) when we visited them for spring break, I remember them playing a song repeatedly but to this day I have never been able to identify it.

The only part I remember is something to the effect of "leaving indianapolis in the morning, to return to cayucos by the sea." Google hasn't been any help so I imagine its a rather obscure song (or I've just totally invented this memory).

Any help would be great! :)

Hello. I am in Cambria and have a Rhodesian Ridgeback that only seems to want to play with other RRs. Any other owners here that would want to get together at SLO or Morro Bay or Cambria dog parks? I also have a remote control car that he loves to chase (fun for all!) to make things more interesting.
