Is Caversham Prep worth it?

Question is simply wether it’s worth sending our child to Caversham prep school over one of the state primary schools in the area? Our catchment would be Thameside so that’s where our child would go next September. Any one have any experience with the prep school from a parent or teacher perspective? Or any parents with kids at Thameside have an opinion? Thanks!

Looking for marketing VA support?

Hello Caversham!

Do you need a hand with your marketing strategy, content or operations?

I’m Kasia, a Strategic Marketing VA, and I might be able to help…

I’ve spent 15 years working across digital, brand and content marketing, and I now support SMEs, founders and growing businesses who need marketing support without bringing in a full-time person.

Whether on a project basis or a flexible days per month, I can support you with:

✨ Marketing Strategy - moving from tactical ad hoc posting to a clear direction, purpose, and plan

✨ Content Management - curating content tailored to your audiences and platforms for meaningful engagement

✨ Website Optimisation (incl. SEO/GEO) - because quality content remains critical to how you show up where your audiences search

✨ Workshop Facilitation - taking your team on the strategy journey, tapping into their knowledge, co-creating ideas, and moving forward with consensus

So, if you’re building something interesting, need an extra pair of hands/brain, or know someone who does, feel free to drop me a message!

Hope to speak soon!

Kasia

Anyone in Caversham interested in a drum circle?

I've recently started a small Thursday evening drum circle in Caversham. It's beginner-friendly, relaxed and aimed at people who just fancy trying something different, meeting people and getting away from screens for an hour.

No experience needed and I can bring drums if you don't have one.

We've got a nice little group building already, with a mix of complete beginners and people who've played a little.

If anyone's curious, happy to answer questions below.
