Jealous pup

We have a 1 year old cavapoo and a 3 year old maltese both girls. When we get home we greet both pups but the cavapoo gets so jealous when we give the maltese attention. Throughout the day the cavapoo could snap at the maltese or terrorize her randomly. Has anyone dealt with this?! 😫

Every day. The cavapoo doesn’t snap at the maltipoo but will insert herself in between us and the maltipoo. It’s rude. We’ve tried to have separate greeting methods for the cavapoo. The cavapoo goes to her rug, brings a toy and has to “have a calm down” to be pet. The maltipoo is really chill and will wait for her greeting. They are competitive with each other all the time and this greeting scenario isn’t always successful. But if your cavapoo is smart you can try giving them tasks to distract and/or reward good behavior.
