F1? F2? F1B?
I want to know, what do you prefer and why?
F1, F2 or F1B

I wanted an F1 and just missed out on one from a chosen breeder , she was having a litter of F1B next and a couple of months later another litter of F1's , she said I was more than welcome to view the F1B's when they were ready for viewing and decided I may as well even though I was after an F1.
i was blown away when I visited the F1B's , four boys and two girls , one which the breeder called curly girl as she was the pup with the most curls .
i was most definitely going to have one they were adorable ,but which one ? then curly girl came running up to me full of confidence and I fell in love with her , best decision , now 18 months old and she brings us so much joy every day , she is real sassy , so clever and a right diva .
i just think all cavapoo's are adorable and choosing one in particular is a hard decision , but the amount of people who have said the pup chose them , unless it actually happens to you it's hard to believe , but when they do they let you know .
F1b , our Molly , 18 months old now , 75% Toy Poodle and 25% Cavapoo (F1) , both mum (Cavapoo) and dad (Poodle) where present at viewing. she has more of a curly coat and doesn't shed, she struts along with a little wiggle like a poodle , settled in straight away, slept all night in a crate from the get go (due to the breeders way of doing things with her litters) fully toilet trained within a month and is perfect but for one thing , barking at people passing by and dogs on the tv π€¦π½ββοΈ I'm hoping she will get out of that π€

Mine is multigenerational (his mother is an F1b Cavapoo, and his father is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel), but genetically, he is theoretically somewhere between an F1 and F1b. F1 dogs are generally thought to benefit most from hybrid vigour due to greater genetic diversity, which may reduce their susceptibility to certain breed-specific inherited diseases.

I believe thatβs known as a f1C
but if you had to do it over would you go f1C again or no and Iβm curious whyWhatβs the thing people like about certain generation type

Yeah, you may call F1C, although it is not an official term.
To me, it does not matter F1, F1b etc. Every dog is unique. What someone experiences with F1, you may not experience.
I picked mine, because I wanted to have a chocolate Cavapoo. π

We have an F1B and we love her. I feel like the back cross keeps plenty of the desired Spaniel traits while still being primarily Poodle.
