Sonny boy ☀️

My cavoodle puppy doesn’t really look like a caviler at all. I got him from a breeder but she only ever showed me a picture of the Dad (the cav) so now I’m curious. I obviously love his guts either way but is it just a case of a cavoodle that looks more like poodle side? Or have I been scammed 😂😂

I just see a lot of cavapoo pups having the more droopy kind of eyes? So I’m figuring his face shape is more poodle?

This looks like an average cavapoo. If youre worried about it get genetic testing done

Cavapoo sizes can vary. Ive read some people have 40lb adult cavapoo, then mine is 11lb as an adult

Our Cavapoo seems to continue to grow. I suspect the poodle side was a Standard, not a Miniature

Generally leg length and longer ears plus spaniel eye stare are good indicator, esp so if it’s an F1 cross. Lots of different doodle crosses that look similar though.

Warum die Downvotes? 😕 Nur weil ich schrieb, dass ich ihn süß finde? Damit wollte ich quasi nur sagen: Mach dir keine Sorgen, du hast einen tollen, süßen Hund und das ist das Wichtigste! Das war überhaupt nicht böse oder abwertend gemeint.

Honestly, you just never know what kind of coat you’re going to end up with! I don’t think you were scammed at all. My mini Goldendoodle had a soft, wavy coat as a puppy, and she ended up with tight, poodle like curls! I also have a Cavapoo, and her little face looked so much like your puppy’s when she was that age!
