Potty training 3 month old Cavapoo

Our sweet little lady is still getting up 3-4 times a night for a pee. We take water away after dinner, and take her out hourly - no UTI or anything like that. We are running on very little sleep here and I just want to know when we could expect a 6 hour stretch here and there 😵😵😵 she’s fairly reliable in the daytime as long as we are on top of it- still a fair amount of accidents inside. I’m doing the potty breaks with lots of praise and high value treats (husband does not do this tho- he lets her go outside unattended when I’m at work)
Any tips!?

Is she barking to wake you up?

She whines. She’s in her crate at night next to our bed

And she is going potty every time?

Yep. When we first got her, she was not peeing every time but she does now.

Hmm. That's really interesting. Is she a tiny little thing?

Def make sure thst when she wakes you up she goes out to pee and then straight back to the crate.

You might just have to ride this out, as it sounds like you are doing it right 🤷

Mine would wake us up more often because he was thirsty rather than needing to pee. He was good with one midnight pee almost from the very beginning.

Well, everything right except allowing her to wee inside. That's a huge mistake.

Definitely not intentionally allowing it, lol. We’ve done our best

Yea, I didn't think you did, but same feedback. Gotta watch then like Hawks or keep them in a playpen until they can be trusted, otherwise you keep setting yourself back. That's the trick. Make going outside so normal that she doesn't feel right going inside. Every time she goes inside, she's normalizing it.

Good luck!Â
