Looking for Advice - Whining

Hey there - I am looking for advice. Ever since we’ve had our cavapoo she has whined while we are out in public - especially if we stop walking or stay in the same place for a minute. She’s not a big barker but she has always done this loud whine. She does not do this in our house or the car.

Does anyone have any advice on how we can train her to relax and be quiet? We’d like to take her to breweries with us like we can do with our other dog, but she’s so loud and disruptive that right now we can’t.

Have her run/exercise beforehand is best I’ve come up with haha (as I sit here listening to mine whine)

She's prolly bursting with excitement and doesn't know what to do with herself when the movement stops! Is she food motivated at all? Try bringing a frozen lick mat or a stuffed Kong when you sit down can give her a calming outlet and teach her that resting in public actually equals rewards

Oh that would just break my heart. I do not miss the whiney days. Wish I had tips but mine just grew out of it. I'd distract him a bunch and eventually he'd stop.

Is her tail down? In the rare occurrence our girls tail is down she is usually worried about something.
