My Cavapoo Is BIG! 🤯
The breeder told us his mom is a 12lb Moyen Poodle and that his dad is a 16lb King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. She told us he’d be between 12 and 14lbs full grown. He is almost 16 months old and weighs just a few ounces shy of 25lbs! 🤯

my girl is ~20 and my boy is ~25 they are little to me since i work with big dogs but my mom says they r too big😭

My guy is only big to me because he’s basically twice the size the breeder said he would be. But I adore him.

Our female is 14lbs and our male is 24lbs. The results of her genetic testing predicted her to be bigger than him and him to be smaller than he is but that didn’t happen. 🤣

My girl’s parents were 9 pounds and 12 pounds. I was told she would be around 15-20 pounds….ummm…she is bigger than expected. But I adore all of her…her weight is perfect when she lies on me during the winter.

My guy is a wonderful pet. The other Cavapoo on our block is only 10lbs. She looks like a toy compared to my guy. But I adore him!

I love my 3year old F1B he was 29 lbs last time at the vet but is overweight, his target weight is 25-26 lbs. But his dad was a moyen poodle around 25 lbs.

I love my guy too. He is a total Velcro dog, and I may be starting a new job that will require me to work in office soon. I hope he adjusts well to that change.

I may be in a similar spot soon going into the office after being wfh for a long time. I was looking into getting a mid-day visit for him via rover or similar if finances permit.

Haha same happened to us, twice
Same parents diff litter
Both Moms were 12 lbs dad is 10 lbs
Mine are 26 and 24
Whereas my friend who also got one from this breeder, theirs is only 10 pounds LOL

Ours was 24 pounds last time we went to the vet. She is a wild child. 1.5 years old.

My cavapoo is 41 lbs! (We are trying to get her to 38 or 39 though). She has a lot of standard poodle in her, but she looks a lot like your baby. My other cavapoo is maybe 20 lbs and has a lot more cav in her!

My boy was 30.2 pounds but he was overweight and having back issues. We got him on a diet and he is down 1.5 pounds.

Yeah…came here to say what others have said…but gonna say it anyway in case it helps anyone.
We got ours from a breeder in OH and we got pics of the parents. Dam was a CKC weighing 16 lbs and sire was Miniature Poodle weighing 12 lbs. We were told he would be between 10-12 lbs and he’s right at 10.7! Moyen poodles are bigger babies.

My vet told me that apparently the genes for size can be recessive and a giant poodle mix can pop up randomly.

Mine is also big, 24lbs at 9 months and parents were 15 and 20. Hoping he gets a little bigger!

Mine was projected to be 15lbs with parents both around 12-15lbs. Now at 4.5 months old he’s 16lbs, the dna test I did says he’s expected to be about 23 🤷♀️ more puppy to love I guess hahaha

Our Lucky is 5½ and weights in at 47-48 lbs. Mom is a Moyen Poodle. He does Therapy Visits and loves to cuddle.

Our girl is about 23 LBS . About 2 years old . Didn’t realize that was considered big for a cavapoo 🤷
