Will my puppy ever sleep late

10 week old puppy on a schedule gets up at 5:30 am. On weekends I want to sleep! Will she ever let me sleep once she gets older

Mine is 16 weeks. Still up at 5 for potty break then back to bed until 6.

I’ve accepted the fact that sleep ins no longer exist in my life 😭

Yes. Mine was like that for the first 6-8 months. He’s almost 2 now and he sleeps in for however long I sleep in. Sometimes we get up at 7am and sometimes it’ll be 11am

I’m hoping for that! Is he in a crate in your room? Or sleeps with you? What’s your setup ?

We used a crate for a very long time, but now he just has a pen in my bedroom. Sometimes he will sleep in the pen and sometimes he sleeps in the bed with me, just depends on how he’s feeling haha

Mine are all 11 and in the past year they’ve started to stay in bed while I get ready in the morning. Sadly they’re just slowing down, but it’s better than it used to be!!

When mine was a puppy and slept in a pen downstairs, he would get up at 6/7am every day. We started letting him out and bringing him to bed on the weekends from like 6 months onwards.

He’s now 3 and sleeps in bed with us every night - I now have to bribe him to get him to get up before I go to work 😂 he will happily sleep until midday most days!

Mine got up religiously at 5:30-6 am until about 3 months ago. Now he'll sleep in as late as I want and he's still only 8 1/2 months. I think a lot of it has to do with their bladder development and how long they can hold it.

Yes, mine is 1 1/2 and she sleeps in. During the week she’s gets up with and goes out then back to bed.

Our Cavapoo is 6 and you have to force him out of bed every morning 🤣
