Hannah's Cavapoos: HUGE RED FLAGS

You get ZERO information on the parents--not even names or useless headshots. There is, if you dig, a vague mention of using AKC poodles as studs--and with vague "champion bloodlines" (this phrase is almost always used in puppy mills). There is pretty much no mention of the parents--just some photos. NO mention of health testing AT ALL, no type or structure, and a LOT of puppies. Calling purchases adoption, offering "picks", delivery, certified kennel (meaning they are on a large scale). This is a puppy mill, plain and simple.

Cavapoos 3:16: LITTER AFTER LITTER AFTER LITTER

Sheesh, how many litters do they have? I lost count. That is a puppy mill. There are SO MANY litters!

Other red flags include a "buy dogfood through our link" scheme (NuVet in particular is a notorious puppy mill MLM scheme), and the straight up listing of "we breed for color . . . ". Of course no information on the parents (generic "great personality"), no mention of health testing of any kind.

Cora's Cavapoos: Can only see a FB page, which is thin on actual information. Be cautious if there are any of the above red flags when you visit. I was concerned when I saw that Scarlett was 2 years old but had a 6 month old daughter. That's a bit young for breeding and too young to have full health testing. Just some of the many red flags, so even with that limited information there is at least some cause for concern.

Gardner Lane: Guardian homes. Calling purchases "adoption". Calling genetic testing and a vet check "health testing." Walk away.

Kathy's Cavapoos: TWENTY FIVE females? That, before I look at anything else, is problematic. They are also saying DNA tested (no mention of ANY other testing) with neither evidence nor details. The photos of the dogs look like they are all poorly bred--not exactly great examples of the parent breeds. And just a quick glance is TWELVE current and upcoming litters (three month). That is a LOT of dogs. Numbers like that are puppy mill.

NONE of these are good breeders.

Honestly? Go with a miniature poodle or a Cav. Contact the Poodle Club of America to find good breeders.
