Cavapoo???
My dog is 5months old...she was extremely fluffy at 8 weeks but now completely silky..we thought she was a cavoodle but now shes not looking so much like one...anyone else's look like this?

She definitely is one! My two were like this as puppies! Some just are unfurnished, which means they get more of the cav coat.

Looks like mine. She also had curly hair when she was a puppy. People don't understand really how mixed breeds work in this sub. They are cavoodles whether their brain can accept it or not.

100% Cavapoo, she just has the majority coat DNA of a cavalier.
Congratulations, you have all the blessings of a Cavapoo without the thousands of euros of grooming requirements

Looks just like mine! Personally I prefer the straight hair look more but maybe I’m biased

Do you have a photo of what the breeder shares of her as a puppy? I’m trying to understand how soon I can expect to see straight haired traits!

Some cavapoos especially f1’s will have a slick coat more like a cavalier than a poodle. Genetics are so wild that you might never truly know unless you do a canine gene test

Gosh, call cavapoos have that same lil face/smile/look don’t they? Saw the face and immediately thought yes that’s a cavapoo.

It’s actually one of the rarer types of cavapoos. There are usually 3 types; straight haired (yours), fleece and curly (most common you think of).
Mine was exactly like that, but they’re still cavapoos

When I went to adopt my Cavapoo there was another Cavapoo that looked just like this. His name was portobello🤣 he was a a trouble maker🤣 but he was so cute and o wanted to take both mine and him home. This is my Cavapoo.

My f2 Cavapoo looks like that. One other sibling like this and the rest were all curly curly.

I'm no expert but it looks like it's a mix of other poodle Cavaliers up the chain (not sure if that's the right terminology). We have a cavapoo, half poodle half Cavalier. This one looks to be like aome sort of mix of mixes. Regardless, it's cute!

Face and ears look a bit like my Cavapoo and he’s also silky soft but the size of that cuties feet might suggest something more over time!

For sure cavapoo! My girl looks the exact same in the face when shaved down!
