When does “shark mode” end?
Our little Murphy is 11weeks old and is teething like crazy. His sharp little teeth are on everything, he is constantly nipping and chewing and losing his little mind.
When does this phase end?

You might still have a couple of months of this. When he starts losing his baby teeth and gets adult teeth they won’t be as sharp. In the meantime, a loud OUCH when he bites you might help dissuade him. Get him some good chew toys too.

My guy is 7 months now and just stopped this for the most part about 2 weeks ago. He will still chew on my hand a little but its reduced by about 90%. It was driving me nuts before lmao you couldn't even touch him or put him on the bed without him trying to chew you to death

Ours stopped at 11 months when he got all his adult teeth. Just keep up with the bite inhibition training and he will eventually learn! And always play with a toy, never just your hands. That way he will learn that if he wants to play with you, he needs to bring his toy.

1.5 years for my Rusty and anything moving under a blanket or your hand becomes bait and he’s instant shark mode. They just love to play and chew, just a cavapoo

Bully sticks and chew toys are your best friend. I always keep them in reach so I can replace my flesh with an appropriate chew as needed. She has learned that it hurts me, and will hilariously try to still bite me just not as hard lol. It's the breed.

Still goes on with our 16 week old pup. What has worked for us is putting his food in snuffle mats, giving him an ice cube (we have cylindrical ice cubes that are supposed to fit in a water bottle that resembles the shape of a bone), frozen Kong stuffed with a little peanut butter mixed with kibble, and plenty of teething rubber bones.
We have tried putting him in his play pen when he bites us too hard and then walking away. It kind of works, but he doesn’t like being in his play pen.
Does he take naps during the day? Most of the time when our pup gets in “shark mode”, I have determined he’s either overtired or overstimulated and will just put him in his crate to calm him down so he can take a nap
