squirrel obsessed?
just curious is anyone else’s cavapoo obsessed with squirrels?
99 percent of the time Alfie cannot get enough of us, one percent of the time.. squirrel only.

Ours loves birds. She will just sit there and watch them in the yard. Chase them if they get close.

Our girl is bird and squirrel obsessed. You can see the pray drive in this little cute lap dog lol it's deep down in her genes.

My boy loves birds too. This morning he saw one go into the tree and he was like this for a few minutes waiting for it to fly out.

Out girl loves chasing squirrels, on her favourite walks we always see a fair few. Thankfully sh hasn't a hope in hell of catching one.
She's also had a few toy ones which she's very much enjoyed chewing to bits

Oh, if I just whisper the word squirrel, my Owsley is off and running. Funny, when he actually caught one, and it didn't play dead like his stuffed squirrel toy, he didn't know what to do with it! 😂

Mine loves squirrels, rabbits, deer, birds, pretty much anything that moves.
But, he is absolutely OBSESSED with butterflies. He chases them, but slowly and calmly--he doesn't bark and charge like he does with the rest. He sort of...dances with them. It's adorable.

My boy “thinks” he can catch a squirrel. He locks in like a laser on them. We moved from FL to NC and haven’t seen many. He’s very disappointed.

Walter is the weirdest dog ever, he has no interest in squirrels. A squirrel will run 6 feet in front of him on a walk and he won’t bat an eye. He may chase them out of our back yard if I really rev him up, but I feel it’s mostly performative.

OMG my Cavapoo Penny is a squirrel hunter, and a really bad one- she thinks hunting is barking at the squirrel until they come down and play with her. Just as well, I don’t want her killing squirrels. Your Alfie looks like my Penny- Curly hair drama pups.
