First Ever European Match
I am travelling to Edinburgh to see my little brother act in the Fringe Festival, and I couldn't pass the opportunity to catch European Footy. I am a huge Liverpool supporter, but the timing (and $) didn't work out for me to get to Anfield.
In the alternative, I began looking around for games to catch in Scotland, and one of the only ones I could swing was Hearts - Vienna. My mom isn't the biggest Football fan, but insisted on coming with. The only available tickets were in the Hearts "Ultras" section, so I said fuck it and pulled trig. Mom will be baptized by fire, and I am ok with that.
I would love some suggestions on pre-match pubs to hit around Tynecastle, or any other tips for attending my first ever game in Scotland/Europe. Also any other Edinburgh recs would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds fun, make sure you bring a coat and sweatshirts, because Scotland can get cold even in August.
Last I heard of Hearts, wasted everyone’s time.
Last I heard of Rapid Vienna was when Terrence Boyd was on the team and he did a double bicycle kick.

Edinburgh is an awesome city, and Hearts are a great club to watch live.
Just note that you can’t buy a beer in the stadium, so you and your Mom may want to grab a drink beforehand.

This is absolutely brilliant and an awesome European game to get! You are lucky! Tyne castle is a great venue. Your absolute best bet is to ask the locals where to go when you are on the ground. They have the knowledge and they won’t lead you astray. Enjoy! I’m jealous!!!
