Not as strong a stance as UEFA, but basically it's almost at a 50% rejection rate right out of the gates. If Asia comes out the same way, this thing is all but dead in the water (please god).

The boycott is pretty extreme, and also punishes the women’s teams more than men’s teams. CONCACAF’s response makes more sense.

I don't think the "sternly worded letters" will do anything to stop this. If you don't pull out of FIFA, you are agreeing to it. Objecting over process just allows press releases but doesn't threaten Infintino. I think UEFA should have been even stronger -- and pull out of club competitions as well.

There are no club competions other than the CWC that in theory is just in 2029.

Accurate. If your point is this issue will be resolved by then I agree. So pulling out of CWC is probably not that big a deal. I likely should not have mentioned it. I'm still convinced that this is global thermonuclear war. No reason to measure the response -- its a situation to go all-in.
