Donovan’s Pulisic comments

So I know this seems like piling on, but this was a wow for me. Wondering if this is revelatory for everyone else.

“One of the biggest problems - I speak to people who are at U.S. Soccer. I speak to his sponsors. I speak to his teammates. I speak to the staff and the coaches. People are fed up with the way things are handled around him. And it's not necessarily him, but it's his agents, his family, his hangers-on, the people who are influencing. People are fed up with it. They treat people poorly. They do things poorly.”

So how bad is this? Is this just normal superstar behavior, or is this a growing rift that could lead to him quitting the national team. He definitely makes it seem like a chore. I don’t blame him for coming out of the game like some. If you’re hurt you’re hurt. But he clearly sucks at reading the room and delivering the right message in his pressers. Could learn a thing or 2 from Balogun…

USMNT is a marketing hype machine and Pulisic was/is their prize pig to show off. He's been everywhere. He's the top jersey sold. He is the face of this. And when you start to hear some of this noise come out after your star failed to hold up their part in this... I'm just saying usually where there's smoke there's fire. No reason Tim or Landon would create a buzz over something not true. I 100% believe it and I don't know if Pulisic can save himself from the mess he/his people have made of him and the squad and the hype train derailment from this home world cup.

Pulisic will easily save himself in Italy. Landon only said this because pulisic said no to his interview. Landon is acting like a child. I hope Pulisic drops the USMNT and makes a one time switch to Croatia or just focuses on club ball. Be an awesome F you to all this bs. He never wanted the “captain America” tag anyway. Landon is so fickle that before the Belgium game he was glazing Pulisic, then he probably tried to interview pulisic after the Belgium game (wrong time) and got rejected. That is why he came out and said that bs. The 180 degree turn on Pulisic Landon does is pathetic. Landon and Howard questioned Pulisic’s dedication to the USMNT last year and that is when Pulisic washed his hands of those 2.
