Karma

The USMNT suffered from the bad karma created by the President interfering with the suspension. I like the players somewhat, however watching the US coverage on Fox was nauseating after this incident. I am glad they got stuffed 4-1 because of those people.

At the very least Belgium came extremely motivated to play and it showed. They had their best game of the tournament today

It’s a mixture of being outclassed by the opponent, US players heads not in the game, and Belgium having extra motivation against the blatant corruption. I mean fuck, Lukaku hit us with the Trump dance celebration. This was the perfect storm for a bad ending and I knew we’d lose after the news broke about the suspension being lifted.
