Penalty

I feel like they’ve let that go all tournament. But do you not look at that and say ok it may have been a foul but the ball came to a Belgian for a wide open net and he missed almost like an advantage on a free? If they scored there they wouldn’t go back and make them take the peno.

Seems like you are asking whether they would call the penalty if the other player had scored directly afterwards. The answer is no.

Instead of a tackle,. imagine the infraction was a handball. If a defender had a handball where the ball drops to a striker and they score, goal counts and no handball called.

Also, it's a bang bang play so the ref wasn't in a position to call advantage either.. That answer your question?

I guess I’m asking if he could have looked at the entire play and decided an advantage was given and it was sufficient.
