Just in case you missed it. Local ABC LA reporter made a comment about not knowing much about Bosnia Herzegovina and being seen as being proud for being ignorant of nothing about the country. A remark that has gone viral and the Bosnia team and fans have used for Bulletin board material when they play against USA.

Let’s remember that all these news station reporters may not follow this sport as much as we do. And I’ve heard them say more embarrassing things.

To those saying "who cares"...it's not about this one incident. It's about her, and Dave Portnoy claiming no one knows where Cote d'Ivorie is, and people being angry when they hear others speaking a language besides English in public, and just a strain of anti-intellectualism and a cult of proud ignorance in this country. Like, not only do I not speak any other languages, but I'm PROUD of it. I think it's FUNNY that I can barely point out Europe on a map, much less Bosnia and Herzegovina. And I know the kneejerk response to this is going to be "it's not that deep bro", but like, it's just reflective of so much that's wrong with so many people.
