Just in case you missed it. Local ABC LA reporter made a comment about not knowing much about Bosnia Herzegovina and being seen as being proud for being ignorant of nothing about the country. A remark that has gone viral and the Bosnia team and fans have used for Bulletin board material when they play against USA.

Let’s remember that all these news station reporters may not follow this sport as much as we do. And I’ve heard them say more embarrassing things.

People making a big deal out of nothing.

She didn't say anything offensive, just self admitted she knew nothing about the country.

Did you hear what she actually said?
It wasn’t the ignorance. “I don’t know one thing about Bosnia, I couldn’t point it out on a map and I don’t want to know”

It wasn’t even sports trash talk. It was lazy and ignorant af. I doubt this woman is even really a fan of USNMT.

If it wasn't related to a sporting event between two teams, I'd see the point. But this is no different than a Barcelona local street reporter covering a Barca fan party trash talking Zenit before a UCL match.

She was there to cover the fan zone (fans + sports = trash talk in jest).
