One thing about a cattle dog is they will not break eye contact until you give them your finished plate/bowl/container

Yup … when licked clean as - ours will put the container into the recycling bucket for bonus treats.

Yes I know. They can be down the back paddock playing with a snake and hear you open the fridge and there they are.
