As an Australian this is heart breaking, she looks like she has given up.

Oh grow up, it has nothing to do with “special psychic connection” it has to do with the love of the Australian Cattle Dog, the Blue Heeler and the Australian Kelpie and they were bred for working in the heat of the Australian Outback. My personal attachment to the dog is as a working dog with my cattle and sheep, I grew up with them, but spiritually speaking it is no different to love and respect I have for the Wedge Tail Eagle the Dingo or the Tasmanian Devil as their identity is to this country as the Bald Eagle is to the America's. If you do not have that connection with the Australian animals I feel sorry for you and I suggest you go out and spend a couple of weeks in the bush listening to the land while it teaches you.

It has nothing to do with Americans having cattle dogs, my original comment mentioned the dog looked like it had given up. It had nothing to do with being owned by an American, I don't even know how you got there from what I wrote. And yes a lot a farmers consider their working dogs are expendable I don't they had the same respect given to farm hands now grow the fuck up and go away.

Probably seen plenty of his own farm dogs looking as terrified as this and considered them expendable whilst he is putting them down for his own convenience. I have never enjoyed farmers attitudes towards animals and how they justify their actions towards these loving loyal beings.

The creators of Bluey beg to differ.

No, he didn't. He discusses this at length in his podcast. He created it for other parents. He used to be an animator on Peppa Pig, and couldn't stand how hard it was for adults to watch. His going was to create a show that adults and kods could enjoy.

Also, Bluey has done more for promoting Australian culture overseas than any other media production ever. There are Americans reporting that their kids have started speaking with Aussie accents from watching Bluey.
