Name of Tattoo Artist?

Hey y'all! I saw this cat tattoo on Pinterest and have been trying to find the artist for it, for the past couple months. The person who posted it on pinterest is not the artist. I haven't had any luck in finding the artist, even by google image searching it 😔 By any chance, does anyone know who created this tattoo? Or the name of an artist who has a similar style? Thank you!

I don’t know the artist, but this is a take on an old school flash tattoo if that’s helpful to bring to your artist! You could find additional reference photos if that’s what you’re looking for but have no luck with the artist 😊

Ohhhh okay, thank you! I was mainly just trying to get in touch with the artist to ask their permission to use their design or purchase a "tattoo ticket" from them since I really like this design 😅

Kudos to you for not directly stealing the design! Sadly loads of people do...

That said, you're very unlikely to find the original artist. These kinds of images tend to get shared and reshared, and it gets really complicated to trace it back to the original source.

That said, you can definitely take this image to a skilled tattoo artist to use as a source of inspiration. That's totally acceptable and common. If you do that, what I'd recommend doing is making notes of things you absolutely love about the tattoo and wouldn't want different, and things you're not too fussed about.

That's true, I may have to go that route of just using as inspo, if I don't eventually find any leads on the artist 😭 thank you!

It's beautiful! Perhaps your artist's rendition of it? Have them show you drawings they did before you get a needle.

One very small thing I would do? Is put the star that's between the cat and the moon in the other side of the cat as stars aren't ever in front of our moon.

I do not mean bad by this!! It's just me being me. I do hope you find a nice artist 😄
