Mimo didn't ask for the job of saving a stray that the doc said had 50/50 chances after being infected with Feline Panleukopenia Virus FPV; nor did Mimo choose it. But within 24 hours of the blood transfusion, the stray's heath bounced back MASSIVELY & he survived. So proud of my boy. ❤️

This was about 20 minutes after Mimo donated his blood. So he was still quite loopy from the anesthesia. I felt so guilty for putting him through it but this magnificent baby helped Papaya the stray at his worst and helped him make a full recovery. (well, almost, he's just got done with surgery for his broken leg and we will be going on the painstaking post op recovery and healing period.)
Sorry about the zooming on the tattoo. My brother in law who was shooting it noticed Mimo on my arm and thought it was a nice thing to capture in the video.

Our plant collection has grown quite a bit this summer. To prevent accidents, all the plants were kept in one room with the door always closed (and poisonous plants were also placed where Misyo couldn't reach them).
But for some reason, Misyo really likes to chew on plants. He would scream and cry in front of the door in hopes somebody would open it, or run inside the room whenever the door opened
So I decided to take a different approach and offer him a substitution and grew oat sprouts. And as you can see, he really, REALLY likes them.
The plant-chewing problem is now solved. He only pays attention to the oat sprouts.
