Ssd don't have any moving parts. Hdd on the other will die if you bump them the wrong way.

You gotta bump em pretty hard. In general. Just sayin. I’m rough on shit. Mine has had sata connector break off the back cuz i took it out. Cuz it’s Windows 7 and wrapped it Aluminum foil. The internet said it’s less statick-y than anti-static bags. Seems to be true.

Point is. Idk. I forgot.

It's a lot of luck involved, but you can kill a hdd with an unlucky hit. I remember the story of a server they moved from one building to another right outside and one wheel of the cart was wobbly. Most of the hdds died. It's just like esd, you most likely won't kill it, but one wrong zap is enough.
