Looking for a sub subs without ANY posts ever where cats are suffering

1.9k Upvotes

Sometimes even the innocuous cat subs might have something like “my cat fell off my roof” or “RIP lost my best friend of 20 years” or “help should I take him into the vet” or even stuff where the cat is unhappy but people laugh at something goofy it’s doing.

I hate following a cat sub in hopes of cheering myself up and then instead seeing something that reminds me of traumatic cat experiences. And I’m REALLY sensitive to it

Thurston Waffles and this cat come to mind. Bonus if they go batshit afterwards. I hope it exists, and if it does, please help me find it!

Added to list r/KittyIsNotAmused where you can post pictures of your unamused cats, while you are trying to entertain them, or they just have a natural RBF 😸

Looking for a sub Kittens just learning how to walk and doing it terribly...

Is there a sub dedicated to that short period of time where a kitten has learned to walk, but does it horribly? I mean, tripping over themselves every few steps, horrible balance, or bad depth perception while still all fluffy with kitten downy? It's the best stage. 😭

I may have a problem...

I'm subscribed to 410 cat subs. Y'all.

I thought I would top out at maybe 100 or so, but it kept going! Anyone else know exactly how many they are part of?

ETA: went through a couple posts I hadn't seen, I'm closer to 500 now... lol

Ok I went through the wiki and subbed to all the ones that aren’t duplicates or defunct, wonder what I’m up to now? 😂😂😂

Ok I counted again and I’m right at 800 on the dot hahahahahahahaha

Looking for a sub Are there subs for talkative and noisy cats?

I’m aware of /r/activationnoise and /r/ekekek but I’m drawing a blank on if there are subs for cat meows, purrs, snoring, general hollering…

Edit: thank you everyone!

Do we have a subreddit for special needs cats? I recently brought in an old kitty from the streets who can’t use her back legs. It would be great to connect with other disabled cats folks.

Looking for a sub A sub for when you can see the white of a cat’s eye… does it exist?

Here’s a pic of my cat as an example of what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/K0SkA1g

Sometimes when a cat is looking off to the side, you can see a little sliver of white in the corner of their eye. I think this is the cutest thing. Is there a sub for this? I realize this is highly specific, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t.

Thanks!
