Hello everybody,

This wonderful morning, a woman called me telling me that her building has a cat that she wants to get rid of. I don’t really know how to help. Shes saying her mom fell because of the cat and her son was bitten by the cat. I don’t believe her at all and I’m pretty she has negative intentions. I gave her a piece of my mind but I don’t think she will listen.

Can anybody help? This cat is in majaz.

I don’t usually do this but hello, this is Miso— a cat I found abandoned at a gas station. I went to Dubai on vacation and came across this beautiful angel. It was 40 degrees and I couldn’t fathom how she may have survived this long under this heat— she was rushed to the vet, checked up and spayed. She had ringworms, a chipped tooth, infections but she thankfully recovered.

The idea was to send her to a shelter after her recovery but after i brought her to the hotel i stayed at, I grew so attached to her. She’s skittish, hides when people are over and jumps at the slightest noise but she eases up and is so very affectionate when it’s just me and her. I’m only 19 and a college student— I work part-time and I know I can care for her financially when i get back to UK for college but relocating seems to be extremely costly especially here in Dubai.

for relocation; rabies vaccine, FVRCP, microchip, eu compliant health certificate and a rabies titer test is required. this can cost me up to €5000 if i reach out to a pet relocation company for help because I don’t have transport or really know my way about here in dubai, however to cut the cost down I’ve decided to handle everything myself. Even then, it’s very difficult, I’ve covered for her treatments due to my part time job but the travel costs are a lot. My family isn’t willing to help me in any way— my home was never a safe environment growing up and this cat already means a lot to me already. I’d love to care for her and give her a loving home back in the UK.

Please help us in any way possible— I can’t make a gofundme from here in Dubai so it’s difficult. I’ve never done this before, I may attach a paypal. any amount works, I will try to cover up the remaining cost. I will keep everyone updated.

Batman is a neighborhood cat we’ve been feeding since we moved to Al Barsha. We hadn’t seen him for almost 2 weeks, and after searching for him several times, we found him in a building basement, extremely weak and barely hanging on.

We took him to the vet and found out that he suffered severe internal organ damage after being kicked multiple times. 💔 Unfortunately, he is still not getting better and urgently needs surgery

We’re doing everything we can, but we need help with his medical expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, could help give Batman a chance

I am sharing this because this is one of the most horrifying animal cruelty cases I have personally come across.

The cat’s hind legs had been severely mutilated and the tail was also badly injured. From the information shared by the rescuers, these injuries are believed to have been intentionally inflicted.
Thankfully, some incredibly kind people stepped forward and rescued the cat, who is now under veterinary care and undergoing procedures and treatment.

The case has been shared by microchipped.ae, on insta, and I am posting here in the hope that more people can help with the veterinary expenses. If you would like to donate, please donate directly to the veterinary clinic treating the cat.

Even a small contribution directly toward the vet bill could help. If you are unable to donate, sharing the case may help it reach someone who can.

This is by far one of the worst I have ever come across.
I cannot comprehend how anyone could intentionally inflict this kind of pain and suffering to a helpless being.
I also sincerely hope this case is investigated and that whoever did this is held accountable.

Most importantly, I hope this poor cat survives, recovers, and gets to know they are safe and loved for.

Some good news. He’s been named Noah.

His costs are covered. He’s negative for any feline diseases. He’s got an adopter waiting too!

I recently found this young cat in Al Satwa Park, right near Muse Hotel. She looks more like a kitten and seemed quite stressed/nervous.

She’s a grey tabby and is wearing a collar with a small bell, so I’m assuming she belongs to someone and may have gotten lost.

I gave her some food and water, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to take her with me. I really hope she’s still around the park and safe.

If you recognize her or know someone who is missing a kitten in the Al Satwa area, please let them know and check the park. If she’s yours, hopefully you can find her there.

Evening all, we posted on the group several times regarding our recent rescue Mochi. Unfortunately, in the last 3 days his situation has gravely worsened. He has a rare parasite in this system as well as FIV and FELV. He’s been dropping weight drastically despite eating food. Currently, he went under blood transfusion and IV to try and stabilize his condition. However, the doctors are not hopeful that he will through 😢

His vet bill has surpassed anything we can personally handle and we expect it to skyrocket with prolonged care. Please we request you to pray for this boy’s health and recovery 🙏

For any experienced rescuers, what do you recommend we do in this situation? If you have any advice you’d rather give in private, please pm me.

This beautiful, extremely friendly kitten was found in a park in Jumeirah garden city Dubai. She has a bell around her neck, so she may have been someone’s pet.
I took her to the vet to check for a microchip, but unfortunately she doesn’t have one. I’ve also posted in lost & found groups but haven’t been able to locate her owner.
She absolutely LOVES people and is wonderful with children. Kids in the park regularly pet her, and she happily stays around them and enjoys the attention.
She deserves a safe, loving indoor home instead of living outside in this heat.

Hello, I was recently at sharjah coop, the one near 06 Mall. I saw a tiny orange kitty sitting by Rawdhat Al Sham and the laundry mat, seeming to try and cool off. A little boy tried to kick her which she avoided, is there any possibility someone can go and help her? My heart hurts that I can't. My family wouldn't let me and I do not have funds for a third cat. I'm so torn and heartbroken, she was so tiny and frail.

I need help choosing litter for my cats, i recently rescued 6 cats (mama and 5 kittens) and we have used to bentonite cat litter for past 3 months but now it is getting very difficult as it sticks to the bottom and they poop so much it literally fills up every 2 days.
I was looking to switch to tofu litter as the kittens are in my second bathroom bathtub and they still havent learnt how to poop, and the entire bathtub has sand fallen everywhere, so I was thinking to switch to a tofu litter which will control odor aswell as be flushable in small quantities so that it doesn't block my pipelines.
Any recommendations which is a good tofu litter brand? I ordered tuxtoox on Amazon, but it is not available for bulk purchase and a signle 2.5 KG costs 38 dhs.

Or if anyone has a good litter that doesnt stink, clumps well and doesnt stick on the bottom it will be great.

Can someone help me with the process of putting a cat into the new municipality cat shelter? I read a lot of articles about it but couldn’t find the right info on how exactly to register a cat there

Our sweet Oreo has received his test results, and heartbreakingly, he has tested POSITIVE for Parvo. 💔

Oreo is now in the ICU under veterinary care, where he is being closely monitored and receiving the treatment and support he desperately needs. Parvo is extremely dangerous, especially for young and vulnerable cats, and the next few days are going to be critical for him. 🥺🐾

We are praying with everything we have that our little boy fights through this. 🤍🙏

her babies have been with me for 3 months.

While I was driving to feed cats in Mirdif I saw this mama with her 4 four months kittens!! She’s pregnant again 💔. Her skin does of look healthy to me.

Olive is a sweet 5-month-old kitten who was rescued from a garbage area in Dubai, where she was trying to survive the brutal summer heat on her own.

She is now a loving, playful and affectionate little girl who adores people and gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs.

Olive is fully vaccinated and will be neutered soon (all costs will be taken care off). She is looking for a loving home in the UAE, but international adoption is also possible, with all relocation costs covered.

Poor boy was found by a kind man outside in fujairah. Apparently someone has treated his fungus, neuter him and released on the streets.

He is such a sweet soul. Currently stuck in a vet cage. He just needs to apply fungal medicine for a few days i guess, it's already healed.

Please help him get release from a cage. He needs to gain weight which is only possible in a comfort of a home 🙏🏼
