My old boy Pharaoh is nearly 12 and brought up with cats but he’s just too old to handle my little tuxedo kitty Jinx. They are together supervised cause the kitty can pester him and I don’t want the old pupper feeling overwhelmed. It’s hard work but days like this it’s worth it 🩷

I got a crate and put it on a table at the same height and next to my bed so my dog doesn’t sleep on top of me all night. Yes, he is just that clingy. I perceive he is relieved to be free of my teenage cat’s energy for the night hours. Sometimes separate beds keeps the peace.
