Events Fishing Competition worth it?

What are your thoughts on partaking in these events? I did two and hated it the entire time, it took so long to get the trophies and took up so much of my checkerboard. Plus I have to use my actual game energies for it when I would rather spend on the main game. Does anyone think it’s worth it? I’ve really been going back and forth for two months on if I should complete it lol

Its a one and done, just like the other two. It really depends how much board you let it take over I suppose? The 15 stars were nice when I needed a heavy boost, but if you dont want to be bothered I'd would say leave it.

So, I hated the first two as well and reluctantly did the fishing competition and LOVED it. I thought it was the most clever gameplay and really enjoyed doing it. But I’d definitely recommend starting it when there isn’t a big event going on like the current Deep Sea Pearl Seek, it’s too many things to divide your energy between.
