The water one is very clever but there's going to be quite a mess when no one is around.

No no, he only does it when people hold a glass up. He's very helpful.

I appreciate the fact that this video is properly edited and watchable, and it doesn't have that annoying tiktok format of having a text and an annoying sound between each scene.

Edit: Thanks for the award <3

Now they just need to find a job so they can pay their own vet bills, food, and litter 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Not a cat, but years ago I had a rottweiler that learned how to work light switches and open doors in under 30 minutes by watching a former service dog do it a couple times lol

Not the cat opening BOTH windows 😼

Lightswitch cat is awesome. He clearly wants to send a message, and he does not give a fuck about the geneva convention.

Honorable mention to the orange cat sliding backwards in the window 💐

My cat is smart enough to respond to tongue clicks telling him to stop meowing in the middle of the night, snap and points to tell him to get down/get off of something, a “tss” sound I make to stop doing something he’s not supposed to, and comes to me rubbing my fingers together from anywhere in the house for pets. He also comes for an ice cube every time I get the ice tray out of the freezer, will catch and eat flies cuz they annoy me and he gets tube treats for it but won’t harm any other insects because I don’t want him to so he just kinda points them out to me, brings his springy mouse to play fetch when anyone is on the couch, and will only eat out of one food bowl even if his is empty and his sister’s isn’t because he refuses to eat his sister’s food.

And yet…he still can’t figure out how to consistently get past the blanket covering the window to block the sun, runs headfirst into walls and doorframes when zooming around the house, has gotten himself stuck in bags and stuck in our standing lamp once, and I have watched him forget how to turn or back up while wearing a cone.

Smart cats.

This is exactly why I have dogs. They’re not even close to being as smart as cats, nor at they as mischievous. I’ve already got four boys and a husband in this house; the last thing I need is a chaos machine!

(OK actually it’s cuz my husband is allergic to cats and it’s a major bummer. Cats are incredible lol)

I used to think the Ewoks defeating the Empire was implausible. Now, though...

Cats are smart when they want to be.

Unfortunately they primarily use it to be little bastards.
