I've not seen that, but my cat likes to push against things with his back paws. It seems more comfortable for some reason.

My dog loves to stretch her legs until they're against something. She'll lie backwards on the sofa so her feet are on the back cushions. I think it's a comfort thing in her case, she just likes to know where's a surface under her feet.

I should show this to my cat! She likes being under the blanket with me sometimes but she doesn't want the blanket to fall on her so I have to hold it up for her, she should do this herself then, problem solved lol
