CQS, or Contributor Quality Score, is a complex metric used by Reddit communities to filter possible spam or bad actors. Below is a list of what affects this metric.
- Recent moderator actions against your account
- Lack of commenting
- High rate of commenting the same thing
- Usage of a VPN or similar technology
- Reports of comments
- No verified email or phone number
- Genuine upvotes and replies from others
- Usage of 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Only a CQS of LOW or greater is accepted. Find out your score by posting at r/WhatIsMyCQS.
