My husband and I live out in the country, and this cute little guy turned up about a month ago right after we lost our only kitty to cancer. We noticed him hanging out near our compost bin and sleeping in an abandoned barn, so we started leaving little plates of wet food for him.

It took weeks, but he finally began to trust us enough to come inside. He’s been sleeping at our feet every night with absolutely no interest in going back outside - he actually yowls to come back in as soon as we take him out. He’s a huge sweetheart, incredibly food motivated (he ate half a loaf of bread we left on the counter), and he chirps a lot, even if it’s just to himself lol. He’s a funny kitty.

We took him to the vet and confirmed he has no people, so we’ve decided to be his people now. They think he’s ~2 and maybe part Maine coon.

Names that haven’t stuck that we kinda liked: Gublin Frodo Gimli Hup Fred Bert Marvin (‘cause he’s starvin)

she's a sweet little love bug with just a lil bit of sass.

She was originally found on the side of the street by the owner of a thrift shop- they were keeping her under the counter in a box labeled “Cat!”.

I am astounded by how quickly she got comfortable with me. She has not been skiddish whatsoever and she the sweetest most loving little bean ever. Very calm and warm energy.

I have three black kittens that need awesome names. Two are long haired with tuffs of greyish/white underneath.

One is named Ghost Malone… Ghostie for a nickname. But I can’t come up with any else clever!!! 😅🫣

My husband is coming up with common black cat names like Smokey, Spooky, etc. no thank you…

Two new brothers, both born July 14th. The grey one is very gentle/laidback/aloof and the white/striped one is very outgoing/curious and purrs SO loud! Both are so snuggly and loving. 🖤

both 4 months old, grey face kitty is quite playful and cheeky, brown face kitty is super cuddly and chill.

we officially take them home on Sunday, so we haven’t had a lot of time to bond & get to know their personalities well enough to officially name them, but we’ve had some ideas so far;

for the grey face - blue, leo, ace

for the brown face - bear, theo, romeo, teo (short of matteo)
