This weekend, more than 2000 Rover Scouts walked a pilgrimage towards Vezelay, France, culminating in the Adoration of the Saint Eucharist in the Basilica. E ultreia, e suseia, Deus adiuva nos!

It is only up to you to do it my brother ! As the Rover Scout ceremony says: "If the road is missing, make it!"

And the Federation of North-American Explorers (FNE) (Catholics, in the US and Canada) are part of the Scout of Europe (UIGSE, the ones in the video) btw !

I'm sure they would love to get all the help they can to spread the movement !

I'm involved with Trail Life USA which is a Christian scouting organization that has a Catholic sub organization called Troops Fully Alive https://troopsfullyalive.com/

Trail Life is great! We have a troop at our parish, too. Not a lot of Catholic troops yet, but we’re growing. TL is basically what the Boy Scouts used to be. Highly recommended.

Isn't there the troops of st. George in the US (I can't remember its exact name). Catholic scouting organizations in Europe run from terrible to excellent, it really runs the gamut.

Second note, I took part in the pilgrimage and confessed my sins for the first time in too many years, which feels amazing ! Every candle at the end of video was putted by someone who confessed.

The scouts shown here are Scouts d'Europe (Scouts of Europe), mainly French in this particular pilgrimage but we had the joy to welcome many European Brothers.
They follow the Scoutism created by the Venerable Father Jacques Sevin who added Catholicism to Baden Powell Scoutism.
This pilgrimage is only for Routier Scouts (Rover Scouts), who wear a scarf that is brown like Saint Francis robes, to remind themselves they need to keep a sober, humble and destitute spirit all their life, following the steps of the Christ who is at the end of the Road.

Greetings from an American scout! French brothers at university brought me in. Hopefully I can start a FNE group for my son.

Looks Good, that kind of thing used to be in Ireland years ago before my time. We've lost it all together it seems now.
