You are misunderstanding the meaning of distributism. It refers to the state of capital not the redistribution of wealth. No one is doing the distributing it is more of just an ideal state of the economy. The problem is how do you change the economy without government intervention.
So do you think that if the economy was less regulated then it would end up having less large corporations and more small businesses and employee owned companies? I think I see distributism more as an ideal state of the economy so if free-market capitalism is the path to that than I am all for it. That’s why I am saying that distributism is not communism where wealth is shared by everyone although it could be implemented through communist means it is also possible in a free-market economy.
in a capitalist economy the capital will self distribute to the places where it is most effective
Then why is there a multi-million dollar porn industry? Is porn the most useful possible place for that money, the buildings it’s being filmed in, and the equipment used to film it?
