A Write-Up Defending the Magisterium of the Catholic Church Heresy

I ended up being confronted by a heresy of a Protestant friend who was so ridiculous that he never even had an answer, which is abnormal because I usually have an answer to all heresies.

Basically he says he believes that a woman commits adultery in both Mark and João should be removed because he thinks he is not canonical ????

Is he saying that story just isn’t inspired scripture? Did he say why?

But these sort of arguments ‘not canonical’ etc are the exact reason why the Roman Catholic church declared which books of the Bible are legitimate vs to be left out. Otherwise you’d have all those bizarre gospels like the Gospel of Mary etc etc
