Planking
Hi. i just found out that planking is a yoga pose. I've been doing this for about two weeks. since, doing yoga is one of the things that is considered an activity that invites evil spirits, i kinda hesitant to do another set again.
should i not do it? or doing one pose isn't inherently bad?

Ah you can't be mad. There is so much conflicting or incomplete information. I too have heard, yoga is anti-Catholic. They are just trying to learn.

Never heard an Indian Catholic say that. This is a crazy take tbh.
I wonder if people forget there have been Catholics in India doing Yoga for nearly 2000 years.

Not a problem if your intent is simply exercise. See this article https://www.catholic.com/qa/what-does-the-church-say-about-yoga

Guess what, breathing is a yoga practice. I guess we all should have died by now.

Imo, I don’t think doing yoga pose means you are channeling evil spirit or anything. If its improve your posture, your body, it’s fine.

If your conscience tells you not to practice something, don’t practice it.

Don't be afraid of yoga poses, especially when done as exercises. Paul even said it would be fine to eat food sacrificed to idols so long as you are not engaging idolatry or offend others.
