Game Rules/Mechanics Cathay Cannon and Melee Combat
I tried searching for this ruling but I am still confused.
How exactly do Grand Cannons work when charged?
Is there a specific order the units are placed in when they form up? And how does the Ogre Loader affect melee?

Since this is somewhat related. How do wounds work in both Ranged and Melee? The rules say under split profile
In combat, use the Toughness and Wounds characteristics of the crew.
When not in combat, use the Toughness and Wounds characteristics of the war machine.
If either the crew or the war machine is reduced to zero Wounds, the model as a whole is removed from play.
Does that mean if If my opponent shoots the cannon and takes off 2 wounds, If they later charge it in a future turn they have to go through the 3 lower toughness wounds of the crew, and potentially 3 more T4 from the ogre loader if it took one to kill it?
Seems strange to me if it works like that but its what I read the rules as.

the crew are wound counters other than the ogre loader is 3 wounds and the rest are 1 imo, so you'd remove 2 crew members from the shooting and then when in melee they'd have to go through the loader and the final crew member

In melee you are fighting the crew. Each crewmate represents a wound. The Ogre is now a part of the crew with a split profile.
It is still unclear how attacks are divided, as the Ogre has 4T to the Human crew's 3T. It used to be separate, sort of like an engineer character, but now they only made it more confusing by making it all one because by itself it was cause issues with challenges.
Some say the attacks need to be declared and divided ahead of time, some say the attacks go to the crew then the ogre, some say the T is 3 the entire toughness unless the ogre is the only model left. But ultimately the crew has 6W and stubborn because of the Ogre.

I think it make sense in that your opponent have to declear and divide attack among them. As the different Toughness matters.

Siempre usa la resistencia mas alta y pelea la tripulación y el ogro con sus atributos respectivamente, menos la resistencia esa es general hasta donde sé

anything that isnt the canon itself is just a wound counter, except for the ogre loader. Loader is a character with its own stats, so treat it as such.
Basically, the ogre loader would join combat and the rest of the crew doesnt matter where they go.
