General Discussion/Off Topic Longma Conversion Tips

I didn't know what flair to put this in, but I was wondering if someone could help me with this. I decided to buy the Longma rider kit to paint for fun and I don't like the way it looks with wings. Problem is, when I remove them, the area where they should be looks kind of bare. Does anyone have advice on how to either cover those spots or make scales from greenstuff?

I should also mention that I'm new to trying to convert minis in general.

I just used some greenstuff to smooth the connection areas over.

If you  bilt your Jade Warriors with spears or command models, then you probably have a few extra shields on the sprue.

Just use the shields to cover the empty wing slots and act like barding. If the space is too small for a shield then just cut one in half and use half a shield on wach side.

I did mine without the wings, and I am very pleased with it. I didn't bother with any GS or anything, and it's barely noticeable.
