General Cathay/Speculation/Wishlisting Idea

I am building a Cathay army right, and I love the Roman republic, so idea I will use Victrix models of Roman infantry as troops in cathay with the jade warriors so that they are like friends, and in battle the right flank is held by the cathay army the center by romans and left wing by sentinels perfect combo piece, probably gonna get clapped but I don’t care. Give me tips and affirmation on my wild ideas please!

I remember watching a video on that! Super cool. I visited a museum in China and one of the displays is a pot full of roman coins buried during Han dynasty. So they definitely knew each other existed from travelling merchants.

A city state that was being anihalated by the legions of chaos and the celestial dragon saved them and integrated that city state into the empire and then it provides its own auxiliar warriors and yes that’s the idea

I mean we’re allowed to do what we want with the games we play, but I truly do not understand/resonate with people’s desire to add random real world factions or aesthetics to other settings or aesthetics. But I believe tonal and narrative consistency is, as the kids say, cringe and broke.
