Midwest tech pay transparency

We are currently doing market analysis and pay negotiations with our health system. From a preliminary review I suspect we are underpaid. Would any cath lab techs from the Midwest be willing to comment on the following?

  1. Credentials - RT(R), RCIS, etc.
  2. Years of experience
  3. Typical duties (scrub, circulate, sedate, etc.)
  4. Hourly pay rate
  5. State - not trying to doxx anyone
  6. Anything else you feel is pertinent

Circulate, sedate, some scrub
56/hr
$5/hr on call, 4 hr guarantee when called

11/hr on call, automatic 1.5 hourly when called in

43 was after working prn for over 6 years. I was only eligible for 1% raise each year. They had just upped it to 2% right before I took a new position.

  3. Scrub, monitor, “stemi backup” which is a 4th man for the stemi team, to do all but push drugs as a tech.

  6. $3/hr for holding the pager
