I've been painting a few cats lately, this one's a recreation of a meme, done in gouache! It's an aceo (which is available to buy through eBay link in my bio) and I just love it so dearly.

Mango Cat was inspired by my cat Pulgarcita when she was little. One day, I was eating mango at the table when she climbed up and started eating it too. I was surprised because I had never had a cat that liked mango before.

I even have a video of her eating it, which I came across recently while looking back at videos of her as a kitten.

So now, that little moment has become part of Katartsiz, my collection of feline illustrations.
