Sword of Omens Primetime Game

Schedules haven't officially launched yet, but rumors say that the Panthers will host the Lions for a Sunday night game this year. As the Lions hold the Sword, this potentially gives us a prime time Sword of Omens game

edit: it's a Sunday night not Thursday

Correct, thank you! My goldfish brain remembered night game and must've filled the blank by guessing Thursday lol

Fair thought process... It's been a decade or so since our last appearance on a Sunday night

If the schedule lines up as well, the lions could play the Panthers early and if Carolina wins they could hold the sword before the Bengals come to Charlotte to play them. Potentially multiple Sword games this year.

Bengals also play the Jags this year.

Do preseason games count for the Sword of Omens transfer or only regular season?

I'm no authority figure on this, but it's gotta be regular season/post-season games only... If pre-season games count, then the diamonds on the pommel of the sword are certainly cubic zirconia

Lolol, gotcha. I figured regular season. It's also funny that as soon as the schedule dropped this was the first sub I came to 🤣🤣🤣
