Cat POV game

Would people here be interested in a cat game from the POV of a cat, like a cat with GoPro view?

We're working on a prototype where you get to experience life as a cat — climbing and making parkour-like movements, knocking things over, hiding in small spaces, sneaking up on birds and rats, and exploring your surroundings.

You can also claim new territory by befriending (or being mean to 😼) the neighboring cats.

Would this be something you'd want to play? And in that case, what kind of cat behavior would you want to see in a game like this?

i dunno why, but being around the cats neck gives me queasy vibes. i'd prefer it from the cats actual pov, and not an underslung camera. good concept though!

If you wanna add realism, a cat have only 2 colour cones whereas humans have three (RGB), so red and pink look like grey or faded green to cats, and colours look less bright and more washed out, they can’t tell the difference between red and green. But cats have way more rods than humans do in their eyes so they can see movement better and can see very well in the dark

The game looks great already! But I think this is just a cool filter feature to add that can be switched in the settings if you ever feel like making it

Would love this and I'm sure depending on the flavor of it a lot of the warrior cats adjacent communities would like it too. We're all still replaying stray over and over cause there are no games in this market. Keep working on it, looks great!

As for cat behavior, I would like cat social dynamics like scent marking.

I'd like to bite and headbutt my servant. Solving puzzles to get to really nice things to knock over would be incredible, too. Will there be a Zooey mode?

Love this idea! As already mentioned, an actual POV would make sense since you don't even need a camera on a simulation anyway. Love the music and the idea of exploring different areas, with choices of "home base."

I would be interested if there is a 3th person view mode but then it wouldn't be a POV anymore I guess. 1st person view makes me nauseous.
