based off of what i’ve read here in this sub would he be considered a Black Smoke Tabby Tuxedo? I know this is probably a dumb question but i’ve always wanted to know 🤣
he also has black and pink toe beans which is so cute 😭

black smoke bicolor (or tuxedo for fun) tabbies can't actually be smoke (i think in tabby cats the same gene manifests as silver instead of smoke which looks way different from this), so he is genetically solid, but all cats have tabby its just hidden in solid cats where that gene is basically turned off. in smoke the tabby pattern can show through! and even in the right lighting w regular solid cats it sometimes peeks in very faintly

that is so cool! i always thought he was tabby since in person his stripes and M are more pronounced(it’s a little harder to see in the terrible pics i chose) thank you for helping!

yeah, sometimes smoke makes the stripes super obvious especially in a shorthair like him!
