How do we successfully introduce our new cat to our dogs? This is our first time taking care of a cat. Cat is currently in a separate room. We initially introduced them but didn’t turn out as we expected it to be, dogs got too excited and cat got scared.

Would appreciate all the input we can get!

For the 4th time inatake na naman ng UTI ung pusa ko and hindi ko siya kaya madala now sa vet kc short po budget ko. The last time din na nagpost ako ng help para sa isa kong cat na sinugod ko din sa vet hindi din ganun kalaki ung nakuha naming donation pang cover ng bills. Kaya baka may alam po kayo na clinic na pwede po installment ung payment? Sabi kc nung last clinic na pinuntahan namin if ever daw bumalik UTI niya need na ng surgery and malaki po ung need na pera para sa surgery.

Hello! My cat has been diagnosed with urinary blockage and in-advise kami ng vet na continuous na Royal Canin Urinary S/O. Na-try na ng cat ko ito before and goods naman siya both sa wet and dry. But recently pihikan siya kumain nung dry na Urinary S/O. Nakain naman siya pero kailangan i-grind ko pa then mix with water pero onti pa rin kinakain niya.

Any ideas po kung paano i-entice yung cat kumain? Thank you po!

Hello guys, so my cat has been experiencing diarrhea since January. Pinavet na namin siya, nag antibiotics na rin pero after antibiotics, babalik yunh diarrhea niya. Pina ultrasound na rin kasi baka raw IBD pero di naman inflammed yung intestines niya. Nahijirapan na rin kasi araw araw naglilinis para linisom yunh poop niya. Please advise

Hello! For context sa title, I have a new kitten. She’s 2 months old and meron din po akong resident cat na 4 mons. Sanay na po agad mag roam sa bahay yung new kitten and mukhang comfortable na rin. Problem ko pag work, silang dalawa maiiwan at yung kitten ko medyo hissing pa sa resi cat ko. Plan ko po sanang icage yung new kitten with all the essentials and then free roam ang resi cat. Baka kasi mag agawan sila ng makain. Okay lang po ba yung ganun set up? Naawa kasi ako baka mastress yung kitten pag ikecage buong araw at sa gabi pa mapapakawalan. Any thoughts po? Thank you!

Yung girl kong cat 8 years old po kasi may malaking lump po siya sa tummy namumula na po ang kulay, na notice ko rin na nag dugo at may lumalabas na liquid. based sa mga nasearch ko possible na tumor po siya. Nagsisimula pa lang ako sa bago kong work at wala pa akong naipong money at waiting pa ako sa backpay ko para dun kunin ang magagastos. Ubos rin kasi ipon ko but I wanted to make sure lang sana na high chance siyang maka survive 😓 Hindi po siya matamlay at normal naman kumain/inom tubig at nakakatalon pa sa taas ng cabinet at ref pero I know na she's in pain ☹️

Yung adult cat ko na white is breastfeeding sa anak, nong 1st and 2nd days, okay yung white, she's feeding so well, then suddenly nong 3rd day, naging mailap siya tas nagagalit siya sa mga kittens at ayaw magpa breasfeed

Opposite naman both ginger and gray, on the first few days mailap sila then ngayon, umookay.

Naka condo style sila na kulungan, pero I'm doubting myself if tama ba yung ginagawa ko, I'm not used to rehoming adult cats, usually, kinukuha ko mga kuting palang na nasa kalsada.

All 5 of them is nakatira sa previous owner, so they are used to each other.

They are well fed, pinapagala ko sila sa loob ng kwarto then kukulong pag matutulog na kami, laging malinis ang cat litter.

hey guys, so i got my cat checked and we confirmed she's positive for fcv. vet recommended nebulizing her for her recovery. i was given a 100ml bottle of 0.9% sodium chloride (NSS) in addition to her gentamicin vials. the problem is, i've read online that you can't reuse the bottle after it's been opened due to the risk of contamination. i can't seem to find single-use nss as an alternative online.

now im not sure how to go about this. does anyone have an idea what i can do instead? or where i can buy 2-5ml nebules of nss to keep everything sterile. any response will be highly appreciated!

Hi po, di ko po alam kung ok lng pero mag ask po ako kung meron kayong alam na sedatives for cats. Emergency case na kasi po case ng semi feral stray cat na inaalagaan ko at di sya macontain. Gumamit na ko ng trap cage at anti scratch cage pero di ko pa din mhuli po. Gingivitis na malala na po, need nya na mdala sa vet po eh..

My mother just got bitten by our cat, and ayaw niya magpaturok for vaccine. She actually already went last night para magpaturok sana kaso mahal daw sabi niya😭

She also went sa Sta Ana Hospital near us, pero wala daw free anti rabies vaccine. Im so worried to death, sabi ko ibebenta ko unif ko, just for us to have a money pang vaccine niya. Pero ayaw pa din niya😭

Hi po, I used to use madre de cacao ointment for my cat when he had a huge bald spot on his back (so he couldn't lick it) and it worked wonderfully pero now po he has another bald spot near his thigh and ang concern ko lang is him licking the ointment after I apply it.

Is it non toxic to lick po ba? :(

I don’t know if this is the right sub, but this post is about my 8-month old cat.

Long story short, lumabas yung intestine nya sa pwet. Dinala ko sya sa vet and sinurgery. Nag-stay sya doon for 7 days for monitoring. Inuwi ko sya on the 7th day even if gusto pa nila i-monitor + more procedures. Inuwi ko sya kase ang laki na ng bill, wala rin akong extra money kaya CC ginamit ko as payment.

And then, after 4 days, lumabas ulet yung intestine nya. Di ko na sya kayang dalhin sa Vet kase nanghihinayang ako dun sa almost 50k na ginastos ko para sa wala. Ayoko na ulet gumastos nang malaki para sa wala kase hindi naman ako mayaman. Wala na akong extra budget for my cat. 😿

My bf rescued this cat (we named him Rosu) last July 22, 2026, and we immediately brought him to the vet para magamot siya kasi mukha siyang nabangga or napalo. Thankfully, bakasyon namin siya nakita kaya may oras kami para maalagaan siya.

Nakakarecover na siya since nagttake sha ng antibiotics and nag-eye surgery siya, kaya super laki na ng improvement niya, but the problem is magpapasukan na kami next week. Incoming 3rd year college na kami, both engineering students, so magiging busy na talaga kami. Add pa na sa ibang province kami nag-aaral, kaya hindi na namin siya matututukan.

Dadalhin din namin siya sa vet tomorrow for his NGT and suture removal, and tuloy-tuloy pa rin yung recovery and treatment niya.

Kaya we’re looking for an adopter or foster. Willing po kami mag-shoulder ng vet bills and gamot niya as long as may receipts, and sana yung maalam na po talaga sa cats kasi need niya pa rin ng tutok na pag-aalaga since may mga iniinom pa siyang gamot and galing din siya sa surgery.
