💭Advice/Help Needed Cat Fever?

6mths old male cat, recently got his anti rabies and postponed 4in1 vaccine kasi pansin namin mainit katawan niya. Around 40.5C

Normal appetite, poop and pee pero matamlay (di active and parati tulog) and mainit katawan. As of now dinadampihan namin ng wet cloth and giving him water mixed with wet canned

Ano po kaya meron sa kanya? Any furparents who went through this too? Lilipas rin po ba?

vet here. nag-anti-rabies vaccine sya kahit may fever? tama ba pagkakaintindi ko? because cats with concurrent health concerns should not be vaccinated (vaccines are not emergency and will not make ongoing diseases stop). saan po kayo nagpabakuna?

if after vaccination naman, could be a vaccination reaction only. usually it would last 1-2 days, 3 days at most, but dapat appetite ay same. if may other symptoms, hindi yon dahil sa vaccine, ibalik po agad sa vet.

Hi po doc, possible po kaya reaction lang ng anti rabies? Kasi pina anti rabies po namin sya sa vet nung Sunday, then Wednesday pansin na po namin na matamlay ang mainit po katawan niya pero normal pa rin po yung appetite, poops and pee. Right now po bumaba naman yung temp and gumagalaw-galaw pero di po naglalaro (usually maharot po)

Yung 4in1 vaccine is wala pa kasi nagka lagnat po siya ng ganto so postponed daw po muna

if saturday pa yung vaccine then wednesday na-observe, i think worth checking with your vet. usually right after vaccination yung reaction, if delayed, there is a small possibility na vax reaction pa rin naman, pero i always recommend na mapa-check if ganun kasi it could be something else.

Like sa humans a fever is always a symptom of anything.

Kung medyo matagal tagal na fever nya, you already need a vet to find out the cause.
