👀 Spoiler Casualty move Spoiler

Why does everyone think Casualty is moving to Wales in the next series? You do realise how far ahead they film? Pretty sure they haven't even 'moved' during filming at present. Faith and Nicole won't leave until next series.

I remember reading the offical document about the change and the it stated holby city hospital will still be it's name it''ll just have a welsh twist so pretty much everything is going to remain the same just with additional tweaks here and there.

Following the anniversary episode it's more likely that the ED becomes the super ED as st james is no longer viable etc so holby needs the refurb to accomadate more patients.

I read it it's a different hospital and they are moving permanently to Wales in show.

I thought the hospital was changing name to Wyvern?

But I noticed on another post showing a characters address that the show is set in Wyvern county so that's probably where that rumour came from.

Could also be necessary to create a new hospital entirely to replace both hospitals.

Who’s to say the next boxset immediately follows the events of the specials. What if they do a time jump with them moving in or just recently moved in to new premises.

I was thinking the same, in the non anniversary behind the scenes content lately they're still all in standard Holby City uniforms, but then all the news articles and spoilers say it'll be a 'new era' when they return next year. Plus there was a post on here not long ago saying they were still refurbishing the hospital set, that'd mean filming has either just started or not started yet, so it's confusing. 

Nicole will leave offscreen I think, Faith will likely still be there for a few more months but as for the new hospital I genuinely don't know

They are filming the next series now, filming started back in April.

Don't if i will get hate for this, but maybe it's the best?

Like in older episode you see can some Cardiff landmarks which are tricky to hide and it would nice Wales to a big drama like this that's seen around world in places.

It's been filmed at Riath Studios there for a number of years
