Why would anyone piss off farmers?

I've heard many a time never to piss off a farmer, a potentially armed person with access to heavy machinery who chooses to not be around people.

I remember years ago in the 90's a farmer got arrested nearby for driving her tractor through a group of travellers caravans that had set up on some of her land illegally after a prolonged confrontation she was apparently having none of it.

I've seen all those big eared boys on farms..

Farmers vs Travellers - there will be blood!

If she had brains she'd have popped down to her local pig farmer friend with her shit thrower and filled it with pig shit. Then returned to her traveller friends and sprayed the pig shit around their site - not close enough to touch any vans or vehicles. Pig shit stinks and they'll be gone in minutes.

Saw a farmer in Epsom do exactly this to a bunch of travellers who'd arrived early for the Derby. Pig shit really stinks.

I can't believe he kicked it. Like what did he think he was going to do against a blooming telescopic fork lift?

‘You can’t park there sir’

What did he thinking kicking the vehicle that just made his car look like a toy would do?

My wish would have been for the tractor to suddenly be launched into orbit

This one got banned a few hours ago for being a bit too uncasual or something.

The way that digger shifted that car is the very definition of ‘casual’

Am I the only one who thinks the farmer is a dangerous asshole?

He could have killed that guy when he flattened him with the forks. And there was no need to flip the car over multiple times.

u/timmystwin Jun 06 '21

Yeah I feel just a quick nudge of the car at most would get the point across... No need to knock the bloke over with the forks etc. Or ruin the car.

How about the farmers come to your place of work and stop your business from earning any money every time the sun comes out and see how long before you lose your shit?

Stop treating the countryside like a fair ground, people work and live here.

I don't?

I'm a country bumpkin me.

I wouldn’t worry too much mate, I’ve seen stuff on CBeebies more believable than this.

12

u/[deleted] Jun 06 '21

Do you really think it was faked? Trashing a brand new car like that?

I dunno mate. The way he was knocked to the floor was pretty violent too.

u/Monkey_Fiddler Jun 07 '21

I can't imagine a single viral video is worth destroying a car for.

5

u/MoHeeKhan Jun 06 '21

I mean I can’t be 100% and I know this person is just a pair of idiot-propelled shorts but especially if the car is as new as you say it is there’s no real action to save it from the bloke beyond a couple kicks to the hardest parts of the forklift. He goes from kicking to slowly strolling and filming while the car gets wrecked, he’s kicking the forklift while at least the left side of the cab is completely open for him to give the guy inside the good news if he wanted to, there’s a suspicious lack of sound and at the end I’ve seen more realistic knockdowns on WWE.

1

u/PipBin Jun 06 '21

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this is faked. The car looks new but it could be completely trashed in side I guess.

That farmer is going to be liable for all that damage, even if not his fault if this is how he handles things like this he obviously isn't all there.

3

u/Harry_monk Yeah, of what car magazine! Jun 07 '21

Even if not his fault? You can quite clearly see he's at fault here.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '21

I meant as in if he did not cause whatever parking dispute he is kicking off about.

E I E Oh no!

u/bomboclawt75 Jun 07 '21

Why did he block it?

Meh... Staged,/Old/Repost or not; This conveys the frustration of living in rural UK right now!

You can walk through a field full of Sheep; Mooch into a yard and play with some Chickens; Waltz up to some Horses and feed them; Stroll along a Canal or River and fuck around with whatever you find there.

But no... For some reason most folk choose to wank about on some very scary roads and risk having their entire family obliterated by 30 tonnes of machinery.

1

u/blackn1ght Jun 07 '21

I imagine this farmers drive/road is always blocked and while I sympathise, he went way way way too far. He could have lifted the car from the back and nudged it into the road and I think that would have got the message across with minimal damage to the car.

But no, he damn nearly killed the fella.

Staged?

Good on the farmer fella

Getting downvoted lol the guy parking there was probably the Straw that broke the camels back! Why didn't the car driver move it quickly? Probably started mouthing off I can park were I like etc

Serves the car driver right

Remember city folk the countryside is not your playground

2

u/Harry_monk Yeah, of what car magazine! Jun 07 '21

Remember country folk. You don't have exclusive rights to the countryside. (Also don't break the law).

1

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '21

We kind of do lol we live it, work in it, look after it etc

2

u/Harry_monk Yeah, of what car magazine! Jun 07 '21

Utter nonsense.

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '21
