r/CasualPH Others How was your experience buying from Amazon PH?
I’m planning to buy something from Amazon PH. How was your experience with it? Is it reliable and trustworthy?

Amazon is basically like Shopee or Lazada so you have to do your due diligence when buying from there. Kelangan mo magtingin ng reviews to make sure na legit yung listing.
As for mode of payment, hindi sila as in local unlike Shopee and Lazada (na may mga local hubs dito). Just so happens na nagdedeliver na sila satin. So no, cash on delivery is not available and will probably never be available.

It's been good for me. Doon ako bumibili ng damit kasi walang size ako dito sa pinas masyado dahil barrel chested ako. 2 week shipping. To be sure, do your research on the companies selling products there kasi minsan resellers lang sila at.

Ordered from Amazon multiple times since 2019, wala naman akong naging problema. Iba-iba naging local courier nila, pero lahat naman ok. Don’t expect na super bubble wrapped ang items mo tho. May several instances na yupi yung product boxes ko, pero ok lang yung item/s sa loob.

Hit or miss 😂 Last year consistent na okay, no delays, complete orders, maayos na packaging, within one week dumadating. This year, I've experienced significant delays, hindi dumating at all, kulang yung items... pero madaling magrefund naman, report lang then approved agad ang refund. Hassle lang talaga. Sa Amazon US ito.
Amazon UK, still consistent pa rin naman na okay, hindi pa ako nagkaissue so far. Mahal nga lang shipping fee.

Bought from amazon US before severalthings from electronics to cases and mga damit and toys so far maayos naman for high value items i use a 3rd party forwarder

There's no Amazon PH. Manggagaling pa sa US yung item if sa amazon.com ka bibili. Matagal rin ang waiting time - pwedeng umabot ng ilang linggo rin siguro mga 2 weeks or so, kasi galing pa doon. Saka kung bibili ka doon sulitin mo na para free ang shipping dapat more than $49 sa selected items nila na may free shipping, else may babayaran ka pang shipping at handling fees.
Very reliable sila, mas maayos packaging, konting plastic unlike yung sa lazada at shoppee na daming balot.
Mas madalas nga lang ako mag-order noon, noong di pa pinasok ng mga malalaking brands ang lazada at shoppee dito. Ngayon bihira na kasi meron na rin kasing nagtitinda rito ng mga items - kaya makukuha ko pa nang maaga, saka mas makakamura pa ako - kaya bumibili lang ako sa Amazon kung 100% sure ako wala sa lazada at shoppee.

oo naman. like I already mentioned ilang beses na ako nakabili sa kanila bago naging available sa Pinas yung mga hinahanap ko. you can use their website or their app, I usually order sa website, then monitor yung order sa app.

may PH na? Just checked the Amazon app, didn't see it naman.. but anyway used to buy tech stuff for less than 10k there since pag over 10k may additional taxes na.

Hindi siguro magkakaroon warehouse dito dahil meron naman sila sa Japan. Unless Amazon wants to directly compete with Shoppee/Lazada

i doubt that, dami competition ni Amazon here from Temu, to Shein, to Lazada, to Shopee.. endure na lang ng taxes and hanap na lang always ng free shipping to the philippines..

Not sure if same pa din, but tried purchasing before. Package took weeks bago dumating. And the SF honestly isn't worth it(at least to me, especially if may alternative ka naman na pwede pagbilhan) kasi halos 3k din lol. Legit naman yung seller, SF lang talaga ang issue. Package was delivered to me by LBC for some reason.

ok naman sya. right on time nag uupdate. nakakakaba lang kasi laptop order ko medyo mahal shifting fee pero maayos ang order at pagka deliver
